Tad - Guitar, Keyboard, Vocals

Tad's early years were spent as a the manager of "The Bonnie Lads", a 60's garage band that played all over Central Ohio. Later he decided to try that crazy "ROCK'N ROLL" for himself, learning to play keyboards as well as rhythm guitar.

"Is there anything more fun than playing the songs you grew up with... in a really good party band?"

Jim - Lead Guitar, Vocals

At age 10 Jim started playing guitar and grew up playing parties, school dances, and weddings.  In the mid 70’s, as part of a Disco/Dance band, he traveled  the eastern half of the country playing clubs and lounges.  Jim studied music at The University of Akron, and has played with all kinds of performing groups; big band, rock, polka/ethnic, country, college symphony orchestra and church praise teams.

"Cool Whip" - Bass Guitar, Vocals

Dwight - Drums, Vocals

Making music has been Ron's passion since the 1960s when he started singing Gospel music in his local Church.  In the early 70s he took over the lead singer duties for the group Cold Heat and in 1985 established the Spirital Clouds, a Gospel group that still performs today. Ron's bass guitar style is influenced by such great bassists as Verdine White and Anthony Jackson - let's get funky...

That's Dwight back there behind the drums...he's the newest member of Franklin Xpress but he's an "old timer" in the Central Ohio music scene!  For 18 years he played with the Rainbow Canyon band and can be heard on their 1978 number one hit record "Franklin County Woman".  Dwight's musical influences are extensive, with strong roots in 60's rock &  Motown as well as jazz, New Age and classical music.  When he's not behind the drums he's playing his guitar or... accordion (really?)
